The Christmas Tag 2016
I've decided that i wouldn't do Blogmas this year because i figured i would most likely to forget posting and coming up with fresh ideas. But i will be post Christmassy posts every other day, so you haven't gotten rid of me yet!
Christmas is my favourite time of the year so it was guaranteed that I was going to fit this tag into my blog schedule. I tag everyone who wants to do this.
1. What is your favourite Christmas film?
I would probably say Love Actually and Elf, i love any kind of cheesy Christmas movie. I will be doing a favourite Christmas films post, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
2. Have you ever had a White Christmas?
It's hard to believe given the appalling British weather, I'm pretty sure i bagged another week of school because of snow when i was in high school. I would love to have another 'White Christmas' because its so photogenic
3. Where do you usually spend your holiday?
I've always spent my holidays with the family particularly my nan and grandad, it's kind of a tradition spending the day in our Christmas jumpers, pj's etc
4. What is your favourite Christmas song?
I have so many, i love putting on a Christmas playlist and listening to it on repeat through out the day. You can listen to the playlist i put together a few weeks ago Simone's Christmas Playlist
5. Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?
Nope! Besides Christmas pyjamas of course, but they're an exception and chocolate.. That has only become a tradition over the last few years.
6. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?
OK let's see... Rudolph, Comet, Dasher, Cupid, Prancer, Vixen. I'm pretty sure that's most of them?? Hang on.. Blitzen, Dancer and Donner. Is that it?
7. What holiday traditions are you looking forward to most this year?
My nana's Christmas cake! I love the marzipan probably a bit too much
8. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
We've never had a real Christmas tree i don't think. Most of them have always been fake. Although i love the idea of having a real tree there is so much fussing around.
9. What is your favourite all-time holiday food/sweet treat?
Mince Pies, and of course the cake, I'm not fussed when it comes to sweet holiday treats
10. Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?
both? okay, i love receiving presents but doesn't everyone? Oh dear i sound self centered now haha. Its not to say i don't like giving presents, i just get excited to see what gifts people got me.
11. What is the best gift you've ever received?
I've received lots of great gifts but one that i remember is getting my first bike from my nan and grandad. Me and my sister were obsessed with our bikes (up to the point, we don't ride bikes anymore)
12. What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?
Like most people's, it's got to be New York. What an absolute dream that would be.
13. Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?
A bit of both? Maybe, i can never quite wrap odd shaped presents, i become even more frustrated when it looks like someones just put random objects into it. I sometimes leave the wrapping to other when it comes to the odd shapes
14. Most memorable holiday moment?
I think all the years that I spent Christmas at my grandparents were the most memorable. I loved waking up early when staying with my grandparents over the festive period when i was young and in fact we still do, nothings better than spending the holidays with
15. What made you realise the truth about Santa?
Umm, excuse me what truth? HAHA Joking, I'm not even sure you know. I think it was just as I got older it became obvious, I do remember being very confused about it at one point! It did break my heart a little.
16. Do you make New Year's Resolutions? Do you stick to them?
No and no. When I've made them in the past, I've forgotten about them. So for me it's a little bit pointless now
17. What makes the holidays special for you?
Spending it with my nan, she's my favourite person in the family. It's not to say i don't love my mum, twin sister and the others. AND being all snug, watching lots of Christmas films and being able to eat all of the foods with no guilt whatsoever.
Have you done the Christmas tag? If so leave them below so i can have a little nose around.
