Birthday Weekend

I've officially been on this planet for 20 years as of July 11th, I'm no longer a teen which feels weird but hey I'll always be a teenager at heart ;) if there was a song about being 20 I'd be blasting it out right now

So on with the post, I had a lovely day with my twin going to the cinema, shopping, and having Starbucks.

We saw the Minions movie which was so funny, my sister was more excited than i was but tbh who doesn't love the minions. After giggling & cooing over the minions, we went on a little birthday spending spree and i finally purchased a Zoella body mist from her beauty collection!

     

If I'm being honest everybody who's seen the Despicable Me,has a soft spot for those adorable minions

I really enjoyed watching the minions, and i think i would go and see it again because the minions were so funny and adorable - i want my own Bob, you just want to cuddle & squeeze (he's that cute)

After having an enjoyable trip to the cinema, We went for some birthday retail therapy although my sister isn't a fan of shopping unless its a trip to Sports Direct to look at football shirts or buying Xbox games... i bought some cute pj's and a cute vest top in Primark and of course i had to pop into Superdrug to have a browse through the makeup aisle which is my sisters idea of hell haha & after looking for Zoella's beauty collection i finally purchased her body mist, which smells lovely <3

The shopping trips not complete until having a well deserved Starbucks! The Starbucks frappuccino's are to die for, they are so yummy!! 

On to the actually day of our birthday, our lovely mother treated us to a meal and dessert at a restaurant down the road from us

 the meal was absolutely delicious and the desert was even better - i have a very sweet tooth which isn't good i guess. 

 

so here are my lovely gifts from my mum and sister (i did get loads of cards, i just forgot to take a picture of them) 

The DVDs i got are Beauty & The Beast, Flashdance, The Sound Of Music & The Holiday. I'm not sure if you can sense a pattern but i love disney movies, romantic genres ;)
